Employees are not assets. They are growth partners.




Employees are the assets. This is the most ridiculous and the old fashion Punch line. We have ever heard. In every speech in the corporate function or any other get together every manager every ceo’s are always mentioning employees are the assets. 

They didn't know what an asset means?

An asset is an economic resource. Anything tangible or intangible that can be owned or controlled to produce value and that is held by a company to produce positive economic value is an asset. Simply stated, assets represent value of ownership that can be converted into cash (although cash itself is also considered an asset).[1]

According to the definition of asset it is represented the value of the ownership and can be converted into cash. 

Another mean asset are lifeless, assets have no feelings. Assets mean representing of financial or economic value. This mentality has to be changed because in every major Organization’s owners are thinking that employees are not the assets. They are equally partners for the growth of the organization. Because assets cannot be make a decision on very on. Growth partners can make a decision; can handle the task very deliberately. Money employers think all the employees are assets, and therefore get repeatedly mentioning the same. Assets have economical or financial value just like your organization’s market share, manufacturing facility for the research and testing facility these are the assets, not the employees. 

You cannot simply state that employees are the Assets of the company. This thing has to be very sounds ridiculous and most absurd. Today is the wave of the capitalism everybody has their own financial goal or another thinking to get higher reimbursement of the services.

Today's employees are smart goal oriented, and practically much more self-driven in compared to a decade ago corporate scenario.

In to the Great and Immortal words of Richard Branson.

Clients do not come first. Employees come first. If you take care of your employees, they will take care of the clients.

This shows that the scenario has been changed over the years; peoples are human being not as an asset. If you give freedom and proper guidance to employees they can be very good growth partners for the organization. Satisfaction and respect to the job they are the most important to any employee. Pay scale is always comes on a first priority but right now employees don't hesitate to go out from the door when they don't get any respect or satisfaction or a very small amount of appreciation. 

After all they are the human beings they have feelings they do care about their job, tasks, and their companies. but eventually their boss or the managers  are very terrible to do the job,  they Constantly neglect importance of the employee. They humiliate many of employees, who deserve respect in their position, but the managers are very much afraid, they think employees get a very much higher position and his/her own position will be in Jeopardy, for that doesn’t give the employee a chance to work with their own freedom. The constant neglecting and the absence of appreciation leads employees to the frustration and this always are a main reason for the resignation an employee.

Nowadays a much more human approach is needed towards employee engagement and Management. Much more appreciation and recognition methods needs to be applied. In the world of capitalism today employee will not hesitate to end engagement in the organization.

In my view companies should change the approach towards it must be more human and ergonomic.

Companies’ respective heads the human resources managers and the Talent managers must be working very synchronization so they can monitor the employees satisfaction and the engagement towards job. Which can be leading to the higher productivity and higher profitness to the organization where employee satisfaction its put on a high priority. Client satisfaction is also important but organization cannot underestimate the engagement and the satisfaction of their employees.

Employees Satisfaction can be monitor with internal survey,  with the time to time rewarding or incentive management program, talent recognition program when you can reward employees productive output, it's must be noticed with respective managers and their colleagues. 

It can create a healthy competition and self-Awareness of self-evaluation of the employee’s engagement and their output.   

You can't tell employee each and every day what do and what should not to do. With  the recognition program and the rewarding mechanism its creating a healthy competitive surrounding which is very grateful, what I have observed in my 13 years of Corporate life. Recognition and respect of the Talent, significantly improves contribution towards the organization. 

It creates self-evaluation process among others wish you cannot provide with the intensive and lengthy one way communicated training. Training is also important but the training does not work on full audience you can't expect every member in the training program is going to be excellent or they can understand a fully.  Without talent recognition and rewarding program employee engagement surely compromise the competitive instinct. 

Let's say  if you are working in organization from a very large number of  years. your engagement your output your profile is impeccable, when your engagement, your output is not be measured enough and it's going to be neglected for each and every year’s performance appraisal. What do you think the employee can stay longer in the situation? Of course not every employee is not the same most of the times people leaving within a 1 or 2 years of services when the talent is not be respected or their engagement is not rewarded. 
It's a responsibility of the company’s think tank. I have seen only few of companies in the India are very much taking care of their employees. Other corporate houses are not smart enough to invest in employees.  They just keep following old ideology. 

It's really disappointing when you say that peoples are leaving organization with the lightning speed. It's not every time you can blame the employee it must be checked with the employer themselves. How they are treating the employees how to ensure they keep working and keep motivated. Indian corporate culture it's still now surrounded with the old philosophy its must be changed. 

Employee engagement and satisfaction must be put on priority for even better of the organizations and the employee themselves.

Don't Satisfy - keep Reinventing yourself.


Satisfaction is a very deceptive word. 

Satisfaction can be misleading. You can't be satisfied or ambitious both at the same time. Ambition and satisfaction are both the opposite from each other. Satisfaction can be achieved after completing your goal. But only satisfaction cannot be part of the evolution. Satisfaction maybe based on your goal or your company vision. 

Take a look about every successful corporate house they are not satisfied till they achieved what they have planned.

Watch Indian corporate houses light Tata, Reliance, Wipro they are the finest example of evolving themselves after and after. They are not satisfied with progress; their success is a part of constant evaluation. 

Similar in nature our daily job can be misleading to the false state of satisfaction. Where you can get a significance chance of evolution or progress but you have not tried hard to achieve something more. 

The finest example of over satisfied Persons can be found in your life around you. You can look also for your colleagues, who are in the company from the last Very number of years, they stick to the job they doesn't want to evolve themselves, they are satisfied with their salary, they just don't go on other side. even if you tell them that is a new opportunity or new start up or a new venture can give a very good opportunity to compensate them self , much larger than what they have getting  today. But this kind is not going to come out of comfort zone. They have made protective shell around them, which can be very dangerous to them. They don't want to explore new things and new Ventures. Believe me this kind of colleagues and friends you should avoid their advice and their opinion because their opinion or advice must be very limited and not going to help you in any manner.

They are not the bad people, they just don't belong that outside world, they don't want to compromise their surroundings.

You don't have to think about them. Think about yourself. You have been working very long enough to know the functionality of your field. You are feeling that you can earn more or do something more creative with yourself. Your job or assignment for your current employer doesn't have greater opportunity or responsibility which can be very productive to you and very  much highly payable. So what should you do. In simple manner you must have to expand your roles of responsibility, by taking very challenging assignment or you can get a very much competitive job that you are waiting long enough for it. 

I have to put one of the very real life examples which I have encountered with one of the entrepreneur I have met. 

In my field I have to communicate and deal with number of entrepreneurs. When I visit their office, factory, production unit, manufacturing facility. I observe that they don't expand the business in recent number of years in which they definitely can get more revenue which will be resulting significance increase their turnover. When I ask a question to them about not expanding the business. 

The answer is little bit shocking. They told me that they have satisfied with their growth and revenue generating every year. The turnover is roughly about 50 to 70 crores a year. But I observe with a little bit of expansion and with little help of their workforce management. Think and grow up to 30% more for they are getting in the current scenario. Side effect of not having a very elaborate competitive state of nature, resulting consistent Limited growth, monotonous way of working, where owner driven by the Limited growth, but the employee is not driven by the same ideology. Shortly what happening, I don't have to say but the reality is that, an employee will be searching another options where they can grow and get a much more highest pay scale. This kind of satisfied entrepreneurs complaining that that employees are  not staying long, every 3 to 4 years they have to hire a new team on a new person. They don't know their ideology of growth it is not compiling with the employees.

In my opinion that employee have chosen the right thing. Why the hell they have to kill the ambitions for sake of the satisfaction of their employer. In my way you should not be satisfied even if you are an employee or entrepreneur or any other person. Satisfaction must come after achieving the goal. Satisfaction without achievement of the desired goal it is nothing but a deceptive feeling. 

And my point of view satisfaction is a good thing but it is not a great thing. If you want to achieve great then don't satisfy. Keep evolving because the evolution is the very basic in the human race. After all we all are humans. 

Keep reinventing yourself. be ready.

At work first respect yourself and then others



At workplace you may feel a little detach from the environment or maybe feeling little more neglected and insulted in the line of work.

An office culture brings you lots and lots of surprise everyday.

An office is nowadays look like a corporate jungle where predators are in search of prey every time.

Making fun of colleagues managers even the mailman cannot be spared.

And intense meeting could be a very dangerous to your self esteem when your failures, mistakes are put on a large scale under the microscopic observation.

Making a fun of colleague, workmate or some other person is natural or taken lightly in our culture.

simple task can be very painful with the remark of the Boss or colleagues who's pure intention is to hurt you in anyway.

Many professionals are afraid of the seniors and their colleagues where fear is absolute nothing to do with their skills and talents. Many professionals are too much afraid when there boss call them in office. Boss’s call or an email is very much important to them just like their life depends upon it. This person's are living in constant state of fear which leads to be very unbalance unhealthy and unnatural way of life. Your life must be happy not to be constantly pressurize buy unnecessary point of orders.

It's called fear of failure you are surrounding with negative comments and constantly neglection leads to very frustrated state of mind. where people feeling very unsatisfied with the job. It's not the others are more powerful than you but it's your own justice to yourself which you can not bring at the time. In very simple way you should take a stand and say very confidently enough is enough. Your rival, your competitive,your boss or your mischievous colleague, all are humans they have the same flesh and blood as you have, they don't possess any super powers.

Being treated like a dirt it's not a good feeling to live with.

Don't be no caring guy who just pretend or behave like I just want to come here to do my job and go around with end of the day  it's not the right thing it's called running away don't do that ever. Otherwise your upcoming days will be worse than your today.

The corporate Predators are search of prey every time. The kind of feed on the fear of others it doesn't really matter that you should afraid of them instead if you find yourself and keep an eye around you. This people mostly the insecure one & just want to constantly push others so they can be stays in a circle. This all can be stopped at the very moment when you decided to put Mercy on yourself. 

It's all starts with a little virtue called courage. Stop disbelieving in yourself it's time to ring a bell,say no to and unhealthy comments or jokes that sometimes you are the center of jokes,It's time to be open up and stand for yourself only you can be Savior of yourself. It's a true have a mercy on yourself. You are a different person. Your life is does not contains with 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. your job is important it certainly pays the bill but you are also important to yourself. Its sound to be selfish but think about it,  don't be too naive to dominate yourself by others who don't deserve your company or your guidance or  the ultimate Corporation. You working in the environment cause you love your job or some other reason.

It's all starts with you first respect yourself and then think about others.

What to do after an average or poor appraisal ?


Time of Appraisal is now over and right now you are thinking about dissatisfaction.

You are not rewarded as promised during your Performance evolution. but don't loose the heart because the race is not over yet. 

Certainly this is not your first job and it won't be your last. You had spent over a year or more days in this job. 

You have very promising future ahead of you and you are thinking about the job change cause you don't have received a good appraisal so what you can do. 

Appraisal will come and go. You had not spend a long weekends, late Nights in office just to please your boss. That is your desired to success. 

It is your  commitment for assignments you have taken. But after year over spending late night in the office, working over the weekends sacrificing your own quality time ,which you can spend with your family your friends your colleagues, even you can enjoy with your girlfriend or boyfriend. 
You are part of the business. you know how to survive yourself. 

Two options are left on the table.

1) Talk to your manager & HR manager, your immediate supervisor and let them know you are not properly evaluated during performance management appraisal procedure. By declaring that you are not feeling optimistic about  your evaluation. you clearly giving them sign that you might not be available longer for any other upcoming assignment. Do tell them in a very professional manner by sending an email for the year you have been working very hard and focusing for each and every assignment of the project you have been assigned which is completed and very good profitable business to the company by stating this fact you can strengthen your case in a very different way. By stating facts and figures you are you are telling them that you are also fine observer that not everything goes unnoticed. You have done your part. The cards on the table. Wait for the show up. 


Money Managers can tell a blunt lie on the face of the professionals by stating the very old Punchline

"this year's appraisal has been evaluated and everyone has been compensated as per the review of The respective managers you have to wait for another here right now we cannot do anything because a system or the policy of the company are not allowing us to re evaluate"

This means pack your bags & go somewhere else. There's no point of discussion when you heard that.

2) in another way you can start a job search which is figuratively very good option. Or you can accept the offer you have got without even thinking the possibilities.

searching a new job are accepting the offer you have got recently are two different things.

I have seen in my career that people are not happy with their evolution of performance. They feel they are not getting paid well that what they deserve. In this time they  accept any offer they have received because they are in a so much anger, they can't think straight got burned.

Not everyone is lucky.

It is mix of emotions, don't think too soon or don't take a decision to too soon.

I have seen the professionals who decided to quit the current job and and switching over the new job after receiving the very poor or an average appraisal. They got trapped & Burned.

Quitting out too soon. without thinking any possibility. It's not an option. They are humans they have feelings, taken the decision at a very much pain and an anger.

Anger is not going to give you Fortune or not give you the stars. 

Decision taken in anger it's always give you're the pain and it's not going to work out very well.

You deserve the very good opportunity. don't waste your talent or your capability in the organisation which is not going to pay you well. 

Nowadays professionals are very smart, they configure what is the reality, they can see the future of their own in a very different way rather than their manager gives a very good speech about not to leave the company, even if company is not paying rightful  compensation. professionals not very fond of being underpaid or neglected in their line of duties. They can search a new job in a stealth mode. They don't leave a shred of evidence behind them. Revealing your future what place to your current manager it is not a good thing to share.

Don't share anything about your new job. 

If you feel you can perform very well in your next organisation. That surely you can take the job and start a new leaf in your career.

But don't take any decision in anger. Do the things what the professionals all the very smart people are doing. 

They can hunt a job in very stealth mode. They don't tell anyone about the plans. They certainly don't show the emotions to anyone. They know they are not being compensated enough and certainly discussing about revolution of their long work which is not going to be going very well. they know that. This professional don't waste the time by putting unnecessary discussion with the management. They have taken the decision to give their services to someone else. 
Not being compensated during performance revolution it's eye-opener. thinking about for yourself 
it is not a crime. It is certainly not a very bad things that your manager can give you a very fine speech. Don't fall for the trap if you feel you can perform better in next organisation, you know that you are being offered a very good pay scale in my suggestion, you should take the offer and move out because in the end it's only you can pay your bills,  only you can take care of your families not your managers. 

you can grow.  you have ambitions. You have emotions. 

You are human being.

What People say


People:  human around us are with us every time watching us our moves,  routine, our life & beneath the smiling face, a one who is able to tell us what should we do & what should not, I am taking about taking decisions in our life. If you are doing something different which is going to be reviewed  by people around us all the time, except our parents, I don’t include them, otherwise your neighbor, friend , uncle, even your service man, everybody is sudden expert & floating endless no advice to you. Even if you are coming to home people in your stair ways giving you a free advice to you.  For example: My friend who was a fellow colleague at work wants to start his own business & decided to leave his job. Bang his decision is ‘’talk of town’’. Everyone in his family going to be shocked & explaining him not to quit job & don’t go for business. It’s not good time for it. You will fail, you don’t have enough administrative financial experience etc. his uncle even declare that ‘’ he is meant to do a job only, in his entire family no one has done business, it’s family tradition so he should stick to his job. Despite this people’s opinion & advice, he starts his business & after two years of hard work, Dedication his efforts paid up & finally he has a well set up business. If he was stuck at the moment & thinking about ‘’ what people say’’ he may not be to pull up. When you have decided to do something you love & your wish to do then, pls. do it, don’t wait for right time or right moment cause of it will never come, to do something what you love or dreaming, then start it, don’t wait for it, once you starts your passion, & efforts will drive it, not the people who hardly agree with your statement.

Don’t be victim for ‘’ what people say’’ syndrome. Think your passion & feeling first.

Don't use obsolete Words For your Resume.



Resume 

A résumé,  known as biodata, is a document used by a person to present their backgrounds and skills. Résumés can be used for a variety of reasons, but most often they are used to secure new employment.

Resume Is Reflection of your Personality / Achievement  on a Document. Now These Days Most Resume Are Electronically Filled on M S Office Format Or any other Format.  

Let's see obsolete word/ phrase which are still appears on many resumes, it is a nightmare for Recruiters. 

Multitasking / Multitasker  

The Most Repeated Word in Every 2nd OR 3rd Resume is absolutely terrifying for  Recruiters. cause Now days Everybody knows Multitasking Has proven A myth. your Brain actually can not pay attention two Different Task on a same time.  In fact, research also shows that multitasking is actually a mental activity between two or more task for which you have to pay a Price by Mental Fatigue,  That's why in west  the texting while driving is the equivalent of driving with a blood-alcohol level three times the legal limit. 

you can Prioritize your Tasks By simply  writing on a note pad.  when you pick a phone & answer to other end. your phone DO the multitasking. While driving car, your car is Multitasking, simply Machines Can multitasking humans not.  

Hard Working/ Hard worker 

Another word is Actually shows your Lack of intelligence on your Profile. Every one has to do his/ her job there is no expectation in that. this word shows your desperation to Get the job or Getting attention to the recruiters. but now days your Dedication or the job shows how committed you are to you job. 

For Example. 

See John  From accounts he's a good person, hard worker. i really Like him.

See John From Accounts  he's a very dedicated  Person, i really like him.

''Hard worker'' Words shows Lack of Emotion

Dedication shows humanly Feeling.   

P.s In my line Of work  I have Seen people Who Shows Hard working on their Resume But In reality they are Hardly working. 

Passionate / Visionary 

When you incorporate these types of terms into your resume to make you sound unique, you actually sound like you don’t have an original thought in your head. Hiring managers read thousands of resumes with these same claims every year. If it wasn’t that interesting the first time around, it certainly won’t be interesting after the 1,000th resume. No one will ever find you. Many hiring managers search for candidates by using applicant tracking software or performing targeted keyword searches on LinkedIn. , no one is keying on the search term passionate or visionary to find their next top executive. They are searching based on key skills and competencies.

This word is not to be mentioned in resume. 

Strategy Thinker

you are not going to war where you have think of Strategy for taking Down the enemies. if you have Assigned to your job  it's your Duty to make Strategy to get things done. people Often forgot Strategy word comes from military history. thinking a way to do your job is a planning. Not a Strategy.

It is a symbolic expression of Modern times. 

English /ˈɪŋɡlɪʃ/ (  listen) is a West Germanic language that was first spoken in early medieval England and is now a global lingua franca.[4][5] Named after the Angles, one of the Germanic tribes that migrated to England, it ultimately derives its name from the Anglia (Angeln) peninsula in the Baltic Sea. It is closely related to the Frisian languages, but its vocabulary has been significantly influenced by other Germanic languages, particularly Norse (a North Germanic language), as well as by Latin and Romance languages, particularly French.[6]

Spreading of English in India 
English language public instruction began in India in the 1830s during the rule of the East India Company (India was then, and is today, one of the most linguistically diverse regions of the world[18]). In 1835, English replaced Persian as the official language of the Company. Lord Macaulay played a major role in introducing English and western concepts to education in India. He supported the replacement of Persian by English as the official language, the use of English as the medium of instruction in all schools, and the training of English-speaking Indians as teachers.[19] Throughout the 1840s and 1850s, primary-, middle-, and high-schools were opened in many districts of British India, with most high schools offering English language instruction in some subjects. In 1857, just before the end of Company rule, universities modeled on the University of London and using English as the medium of instruction were established in Bombay, Calcutta and Madras. During subsequent Crown Rule in India, or the British Raj, lasting from 1858 to 1947, English language penetration increased throughout India. This was driven in part by the gradually increasing hiring of Indians in the civil services. This above is only history of an evaluation of English in India. Today in India English is almost an Official language in Corporate, Education system, hospitality industry, tourism, even in small town, medium scale industries. 

Today we have accepted English as an official language in our Daily life. Metropolitan, cosmopolitan environment, high class society, hospitals, restaurants are serving in English only.    
In Today’s scenario English is barometer off person’s Success, talent, an education is measuring through ruler of English. You can’t survive a normal interview without starting a word of English, in a case If you had respond to the interviewer in ‘’ नमस्ते you had seal your fate in a moment. Your chance to getting a job is drastically reduced from 30% to 0%.  Even in education system English is must right now, if kids communicating in local language its disaster or their parents, it’s a major family crisis. 

In a normal party or even in a corporate get to gather every corporate person seems comes from a direct England. ‘’ Oh how r u? Good Evening, hello nice place, nice party, this are common phrases are using. When it’s for addressing the team or people, speaker has to present his speech in English. He becomes too much self-aware for presenting his thoughts; he has to present his thought in English only, if he uses his local language. His own superior, colleague makes a fun of him.  English is now essential in daily life, but it’s upon us how to behave in over English crowded environment. As I said ‘’ it’s essential but not necessarily essential. We can’t ignore the importance of English. But we can preserve our local languages by not making fun of it. Don’t make necessary requirements for English in our daily life. English is good for business, corporate & commercial purpose.       

It is our efforts can save our culture & language, what efforts can be taken. 

Local languages cannot be taken for granted, English can endowed u but not over your cultures, expression. 
Become multilingual, use English for necessary occasions, use of local phrases in your speech, in your daily life. 
Don’t be shy to express your feelings in your languages in to public. People often makes a        common mistake when other people communicating in English. 
Use your local languages in your home. Locality, with friends. 
Our languages are preserving our cultures. English can’t do that. 

It’s the only way we can survive our languages by accepting importance of English but not our local languages.    

It’s ironic this blog Is in English since it’s importance cannot be ignored but I preserve my language for my upcoming generation.

If you don't have an attitude then gets some.


                    
  
There are two Definitions of an attitude as below, 

1.     A settled way of thinking or feeling about something.

2.     Truculent or uncooperative behavior.

Being in the corporate world, it’s no easy job, we often found ourselves in a Do or die situation, or sometimes we can’t decide what where to act or showing our concerns, views on the topic, situation or assignments.

It is basis behavior of average corporate employee, when our superior asked about any additional duties, projects, assignments, we generally don’t have choices, caz our seniors have already decided our fate. Many times we knew that any new duties, projects, assignments, couldn’t bring any new joys to us caz we had already neck down with our current assignments.

Mr. X has Similar kind of situation, let's have a look at it. 

When u gets a call or memo stating that: Mr. X meets me in a meeting room we have to discuss new Projects in pipeline.

You get cautious when u called upon to discuss new projects. You got trapped in past because you had not enough courage / analytical views to strengthen your case.   

In this situation what should be done here are the some quick thinking & tips for your ref.

  •     Prepare your Current projects, assignments overview, your Role of responsibilities; make an analytical view for it, which includes lifecycle of projects, profitability, and accountability.

  •    Prepare your liability matrix (for yourself only) see if you can handle any other additional duties.

  •      Tried to get some information on a new project, because, you can’t afford to mislay a project which will brings you a more exposure, intensive, more bucks in your Pockets.   

  •      Prepare Quaternaries for your New Role & Scope for new Project.

                                                                                                                            
Now when time comes tom the meeting room, you can go Confident, Go wise

Mr. Boss:  Mr. X, You know we have awarded new projects to our team & we have to do it.  You will be the Sr. Executive (Operations & Site Management) for that.

Mr. X:  Mr. Boss I am Grateful to u awarding me new Projects, I am happily about it, I think I can deliver better if you can help me with my current assignments. :

Mr. Boss: what kind of help Mr. X? 

Mr. X: As you know I have handling two Projects at same time & I have been helping in two other projects as a consultant. It’s been a very rigid time schedule for me to perform, if you can lay off some Assignments form my desk so I can deliver Better.  

Mr. Boss: Mr. X. I think your Proposal is right let me have a think about it. I have to see what I can do? Meanwhile you can start with new Project.

Mr. X:  I had made it clear to you in the first Sentence; I can deliver better if you reorganize my responsibilities.

Mr. Boss: Don’t Show Me the Attitude, you have to do it.

Mr. X: it’s not the attitude as you think but it is my analytical view on my current & future Assignments. If I recall it correctly as of a year before ‘’ you have assigned me a new projects which had already consumes my entire timetable & I had to Performed anyway I have done it through late night shifts & even worked on weekends.   If you still thinks this is an attitude, yes this is my attitude to words fair Distribution of responsibilities. I had agreed to you in the past because I had given my word & I had given no choice to reorganize my responsibilities.  Now it’s your chance to fair play.

Mr. Boss: Hmmm. Let me think if I can spare some of your Current responsibilities to others.

કોર્પોરેટમાં ફક્ત મિત્રો નહીં - સહયોગીઓ, પણ બનાવો




આજના વર્તમાન કોર્પોરેટ સમયમાં અસ્તિત્વ ટકાવવું એટલુ જ મુશ્કેલ છે જેટલું સીમા પારની લડાઈ લડવી.

આજના કોર્પોરેટ યુગમાં મિત્રો બનાવવા કરતા સહયોગી બનાવવા વધારે ઉપયોગી છે કારણ કે મિત્રો કરતા સહયોગી વધારે સારી ગરજ પૂરી પાડે છે.

સહયોગી ફક્ત તમારા વિભાગમાં જ હોય એવો કોઈ સર્વ સામાન્ય સિદ્ધાંત નથી. સહયોગીઓ તમારી જવાબદારીનાં વર્તુળની અંદર અને બહાર હોવા જરૂરી છે.

કોર્પોરેટ કલ્ચર ઘણી કંપનીઓમાં બે કે તેથી વધારે છાવણીઓમાં વહેચાઈ જતું હોય છે. એ કહેવાતી છાવણીઓનાં વડા કોઈ બટાલિયનનાં કેપ્ટનથી ઓછા નથી હોતા. તેમના માટે કંપનીનું હિત જળવાય એના કરતા પોતાનાં વ્યક્તિગત હિત વધારે વહાલુ હોય છે.

કહેવાતા કેમ્પના વડા હંમેશા તેમના રસ અને છબી વિશે વિચાર કરતા હોય છે. તેમની કંપનીના પ્રોજેક્ટ, પ્રોડક્શન વિશે તેમની માહિતી માત્ર બેઠક માટે પૂરતી છે. તેમના જુનિયર પ્રસ્તુતિઓ, સ્થિતીઓ, પ્રોજેક્ટ રિપોર્ટ્સ વગેરે તૈયાર કરે છે.

સહયોગી એ તમારા માટે જીવનરક્ષક સાબિત થઇ શકે છે, ઘણી વખત સંગીન પરિસ્થિતિઓમાં આપણી પાસે કોઈ રસ્તો નથી હોતો , કોઈ આગોતરી ચેતવણી નથી મળતી. આવી સ્થિતિને નીચેના વર્ગીકૃત ઉદાહરણનાં સંદર્ભમાં જોઈએ.

બનાવ ૧. રાહુલ એક કોર્પોરેટ ગૃહમાં પ્રોજેક્ટ એન્જીનીયર છે. તેનું કામ, તેની જવાબદારી નિશ્ચિત કરવામાં આવેલી છે. તેને એક સામાન્ય મીટીંગમાં સામેલ થવાનું છે. પણ તેને ખબર નથી  મીટીંગમાં  તેની ઉપર ખોટી રીતે ગ્રાહકની માંગ પ્રમાણે નવા સ્પેસીફીકેશનની નોંધ પર્ચેઝ વિભાગમાં સમયસર નહી પહોંચડવા બદલ જવાબદાર ઠરાવનાર છે. પણ પર્ચેઝ અધિકારીએ રાહુલને આગોતરી રીતે ચેતવી દીધેલ છે કે ગ્રાહકની નવા સ્પેસીફીકેશનની નોંધ તેના ઉપરી અધિકારીએ ફક્ત બે દિવસ પહેલા જ આપેલ છે. હવેની લડાઈ રાહુલે જાતે લડવાની છે.

મિટિંગ રૂમનું દર્શ્ય

ઉપરી અધિકારી; રાહુલ, તમે નવા સ્પેસીફીકેશનની નોંધ પર્ચેઝ વિભાગમાં સમયસર નથી પહોંચાડી, મારે તમને કારણદર્શક મેમો કેમ ન આપવો તે કહો.

રાહુલ:  સર, ગ્રાહકનો પ્રથમદર્શી સંપર્ક તમે છો. અને તમે જ ગ્રાહક સાથે સીધી વાત કરવાની મનાઈ ફરમાવી છે. અને  આપણી કંપનીની પોલીસી પ્રમાણે ગ્રાહકની અધિક માંગણીની નોંધ, એડ ઓન કોસ્ટ sheetમાં કરવાની હોય છે. ત્યારબાદ તેને માર્કેટિંગ વિભાગના વડા પાસે મંજૂરી લેવા મોકલવાની હોય છે. જેને મંજૂરી મળ્યા પછી પર્ચેઝમાં આપવાની હોય છે. મારી પાસે આવી કોઈ જ માહિતી નથી. કે નથી તમારી સુચનાનો કોઈ ઈ મેલ.. હવે સર તમે મને કહો કયા આધાર પર તમે કારણદર્શક મેમો આપી શકો છો.


ઉપરી અધિકારી; ઓકે હું આ મેટર જોઈ લઈશ, તમારે ચિંતા કરવાની જરૂર નથી.

આ બનાવનાં સંદર્ભમાં જોઈએ તો રાહુલને એક સહયોગ મળ્યો છે. સહયોગી નહિ. હવે રાહુલ પોતે નક્કી કરશે કે તે પર્ચેઝ અધિકારીને સહયોગી બનાવશે કે નહિ.


બનાવ ૨. મિહિર એ પ્રોજેકટ એન્જિનિયર છે. અને તેના પ્રોજેક્ટ માટે તાત્કાલિક મટીરીયલને જરૂર છે. તેણે પર્ચેઝ વિભાગમાં આગોતરી નોંધ આપી રાખી છે. પણ તે મટીરીયલ ૯૦ દિવસ પહેલાં મળે તેની શક્યતાઓ ઘણી ઓછી છે. અને કંપનીએ ગ્રાહકને ૩૦ દિવસમાં પ્રોજેક્ટ પૂરો કરવાની બાંહેધરી આપી છે.

હવે મિહિર ઘણી મુશ્કેલીમાં છે. તેની પાસે એક જ રસ્તો છે. કંપનીના વેરહાઉસમાં મટિરિયલ ઉપલબ્ધ છે. પણ તે બીજા પ્રોજેક્ટ એન્જિનિયર નિમેશના તાબા હેઠળ છે. મિહિરે તાત્કાલિક નિમેશ સાથે વાત કરીને પોતાના પ્રોજેક્ટ માટે  ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવું પડે તેવી પરિસ્થિતિ છે.

મિહિરે તાત્કાલિક નિમેશ જોડે ચર્ચા કરીને પોતાની પરિસ્થિતિ સમજાવી છે. નિમેશની એક જ શરત છે. તે મટિરિયલ આપી શકશે કેમ કે તેના પ્રોજેક્ટની સમયમર્યાદા ૧૪૦ દિવસની છે. મિહિરે તાત્કાલિક રીતે પોતાના આવનારા મટિરિયલનાં વ્યવસ્થાપક હક્ક તેને આપી દેવા, જેથી કરીને નિમેશ પોતાના આવનારા પ્રોજેક્ટને સારી રીતે સંભાળી શકે. 

મિહિરે નિમેશની રજૂઆત માન્ય રાખી અને પોતાના આવનારા મટિરિયલનાં વ્યવસ્થાપક હક્ક તેને આપી દીધા. બન્નેએ એકબીજાની રજૂઆત માન્ય રાખી પોતાનાં માટે સહયોગી ઉભા કરી લીધા.



ઉપરના બન્ને બનાવ એ જુદા જ સંદર્ભમાં છે. પણ અવગણી શકાય એવા નથી. આજ રીતરસમ છે. નવા કોર્પોરેટ યુગની. આજના સમયમાં મિત્રતા અને સહયોગ એક સિક્કાની બે બાજુઓ છે. ફક્ત જરૂર છે સમય પ્રમાણે કઈ બાજુનો ઉપયોગ કરવો. 

Don't Make only Friends in the place - Make collaborators ,Alliances

It is more useful to create collaborators than to make friends in today's corporate age, because collaborators provide better care than friends.

There is no general principle that associates are only in your section. Collaborators must be inside and out of your responsibility circle.

Corporate culture is divided into many companies in two or more camps. The head of the so called camps is not less than a battalion captain. For them, their personal interests are more intimate than the interest of the company.

The heads of the so-called camps are always thinking about their interest and image. Their Information about his company's project, production, is only adequate for meeting. Their juniors keep presentations, statics, project reports, etc. make ready for them.

A collaborator can prove to be life-saving for you, many times we do not have any way in the classic situations, and no advance warning is available. In this context, refer to the following classical examples.

Incident-1 :  Rahul is a project engineer in the corporate house. His responsibility has been assigned to him.

He has to be included in a general meeting. But he does not know that in the meeting, he will be presented as responsible for the not timely discharge of the details of the new specification as per the customer's demand to the Purchase Department. But the Purchase Officer has advised Rahul that the new specification note of the customer has been given to him only two days before by his superior. Rahul has to fight himself now.

Rahul: Sir, customer's first-person contact is you. And you have forbidden me to talk to the customer directly. And according to our company's policy, the customer's excess demand is to be noted in the add on cost sheet. Then it has to send the head of the marketing department for approval. Those who have to give them in the purchase after getting approved. I have no such information. Or is there any e-mail to your instruction? In the context of this incident, Rahul got collaboration. Not associate Now Rahul himself will decide whether he will make a purchase officer a collaborator or not.
